I’m a Dutch game artist, illustrator, and worldbuilder. I’ve lived in The Netherlands as well as Canada, where I lived and studied for six years during my teens and early twenties. My artistic roots lie in traditional forms of art; after having studied painting, sculpting, and drawing during my college career in Canada I took these skills with me back to The Netherlands to follow a new path. I have since focused my personal development on my digital career by pursuing a study in game art and have found a new passion herein.

As an artist I often combine my experience with more traditional art forms with my digitally focused skillset. I immensely enjoy working with color; the browns and greys often found in cityscapes have never been to my particular liking. I enjoy expressive color that engages the player and try to always incorporate these in my work. Most of all though, design should be easy to read and use so in my vision a few colors work the best!
